Services

We provide assistance to people of all ages residing in Center Harbor, Meredith, Moultonborough, and Sandwich at no charge, as Community Caregivers is supported through donations and volunteerism.
 
Services include:

Transportation Friendly visits Telephone checks Home chores Service assessments Errands Occasional meals Primary caregiver respites Resource referral Quality of life experiences

Local area transportation is provided for needs such as doctor and dentist appointments, lab tests, pharmacy pick-ups, shopping, and hair appointments. If possible, we will accommodate extended-area trips (e.g., Manchester, Lebanon, etc) for medical appointments. Transportation is provided by volunteers in their personal vehicles. All service providers have completed a Volunteer Education program.

We respond to requests according to volunteer availability. Caregivers does not provide medical services.

Weather Cancellation Policy
A scheduled service is automatically cancelled if the schools are delayed (if service is in the morning) or closed (service at any time that day) in Meredith (Interlakes) or Moultonborough or at the destination of the service. In addition, if the volunteer assigned, for any reason, feels it is unsafe for him/her to drive then the service will be cancelled. The volunteer is responsible for contacting the neighbor and the coordinator for that day.
