Education is an integral part of our program. Education covers program details, guidelines for specific services, safety and liability issues, communication skills, and record keeping.
Volunteers also attend regular support and educational meetings which provide information on a variety of subjects such as senior housing opportunities, Medicare, Alzheimer's Disease resources, and resources for the visually impaired.
Caring and Sharing Open House
A Caring and Sharing Open House is held on the 4th Thursday of every
month from 10AM to 11AM at the
Caregiver's office. Volunteers are welcome to stop by, meet the
staff and other volunteers, and share ideas.
